Happy Father's Day
Happy Father's Day. I hope that every enjoys their special day. The kids and I made Michael waffles for breakfast and Brooklyn wanted to make him 'orange pies' so the night before we made butterscotch pudding pies.
Before hand I took some pictures of Mason and Brooklyn in Michael's tie and dress shirt. Here are some pictures

Swimming Lessons
This week Brooklyn started swimming lessons. Mason hangs out in the pool in his float and most days falls asleep, he loves the water. Brooklyn on the other hand has a new found fear of the water. She cries and screams during her lesson, breaks my heart. I know that once she learns to swim she will love it and we will just have to tough it through. Pictures to come, hopefully I will take some tomorrow.

Busy Summer
Summer has just begun and we have been so busy. Uncle Scott and Aunt Crystal have come to visit. Mason was baptized. My little sister graduated high school. We started a Mother's Day Out Program out of the house on Fridays. Next week Brooklyn starts swimming lessons. Before we know it summer will have come and gone.

Happy Easter
Happy Easter!
Sorry this is a few weeks late, we are increasingly busy these days. I hope everyone had a wonderful Easter. We had an amazing one. I took the kids to an Easter egg hunt where the eggs were dropped from a helicopter. Then Brooklyn hunted eggs at home, her favorite eggs were filled with money, although she has developed a liking for chocolate.
Mason fills our hearts with joy each day and has started to talk and coo. I am working on getting it on video if I do I will upload it.

Easter Egg Hunting
At the age of 2 Brooklyn can tell you that we celebrate Easter because it is when Jesus went to Heaven, but that is as deep as it gets which I am ok with. If you question more you get many details about Easter eggs, while I will continue to focus on Christ's sacrifice for us I want her to also participate and enjoy the simple things as well. Here are some pictures from our adventures this year. We choose "operation egg drop" this year where eggs were dropped from a helicopter.
